Nestled on Vancouver’s West Side between Kitsilano and Point Grey, The Raven provides upscale rentals where peaceful living meets a lively community.

The Raven is of a natural yet refined character, blurring eastern and contemporary influences. Concept

The Raven is a new rental project on Vancouver’s West Side, bordered by Kitsilano and Point Grey, and our first project to be completely designed by the boutique Vancouver-based design firm, Leckie Studio. A young, award-winning interdisciplinary practice whose past focus has centred on beautifully-designed single family homes, our collaborations with Leckie Studio have created some of their first multi-family residential designs.

The architecture of The Raven blends Eastern and contemporary influences with a refined natural character. The rough concrete exterior references existing nearby residential towers from a past era and the Pacific Northwest mountain ranges across English Bay. The façade features articulated prefabricated concrete panels, with exposed concrete elements in the interior. The stepped massing is a unique design approach to reduce the building’s scale, helping it integrate more harmoniously with the neighbouring structure to the south.

Directly on the proposed UBC SkyTrain extension path, which would extend the Broadway Millenium Line to UBC, the site at the corner of Broadway & Alma is surrounded by a vibrant community filled with retail, restaurants and amenities. The Raven will bring a curated community of homes along with new neighbourhood grocery market and a sauna & cold plunge wellness studio to the area.
